FAQ

  • What does co-living mean?

Co-living is a new life concept for like-minded people to live and be together. The living spaces are fully furnished, the property is self-catering (while ordinary and extraordinary maintenance is provided by QuickGalway). The main value of the co-living experience is to meet people in the same accommodation and share values and culture.

  • What type of accommodation does Quick Galway offer?

We offer residential accommodation for anyone needing a temporary home in Ireland. We offer a flexible duration. The minimum stay is four weeks, when you want to leave just give us only two weeks notice. All very simple.

  • Where are your houses located?

All our houses are in the center of Galway, 1-2 minutes walk from Eyre Square, the furthest house we have is less than 15 minutes walk from Eyre Square or 10-15 minutes by bus. All houses are very close to supermarkets, cafes, pubs and bus stops.

  • Do we need to bring towels, sheets, etc.?

Quick Galway provides bed linens, a duvet and a pillow. Towels and other personal items must be brought from home.

  • Do you pay a deposit?

We require a security deposit starting from €350. The deposit will be returned after leaving the accommodation according to the contract and the conditions of the room.

  • How do I book?

Send us an email with the check-in date and a check-out date (which you can always change later) and the choice between 3 of the houses that are present on our website. Once your booking request has been accepted, we will send you a link and you can pay by bank transfer or PayPal.

  • What is the Booking Fee?

The Booking Fee is a sum that is paid only once (and every six months in case of extension of the stay). It is used to cover the agency costs related to your booking (assistance, dedicated team, bill management, maintenance, issuing of official documents, etc.) throughout your stay.

  • Can I see the room before booking?

We advise you to book in advance so that you can come to our accommodation on the day you arrive in Ireland. We will send you photos and a video of a virtual tour of the house and room you are booking. Our team will do everything possible to accommodate a viewing request, but this cannot be guaranteed.

  • How much are the bills?

All bills (unlimited wi-fi, heating, electricity and waste disposal) and home facilities (laundry, fully furnished house, etc) are included in the rental fee. Quick Galway reserves the right to ask for a contribution to the bills if these exceed reasonable amounts for the property and number of occupants.

  • What is the Check-Out Fee?

The check-out fee, deducted from your final security deposit, is used to cover maintenance costs carried on along your stay and after your departure (painting, repair, etc). The minimum checkout fee is 35 euro.

  • What if I don't like the room?

If you are uncomfortable with your accommodation, we can offer you a different room, house, or a refund at QuickGalway's discretion.
